It could do with an undo button and/or change to the UI. Several times I clicked a piece, changed my mind and clicked somewhere to deselect - whoops, wrong move.
Funny concept/presentation and good working UI. But have you tried playing it?
The first 3 levels are really trivial (though I'm not sure why it doesn't give me 2 stars when I took everything without losing a piece).
Then the 4th level it becomes really annoying lol. How can you expect to capture all the opponent pieces when they have a piece that can move like a queen?
Then the 5th level they have the Plague Queen piece, which doesn't have its movement described in the manual (I guess it might just straight up move like a queen?). And it's straight up relying on hoping the CPU just blunders pieces lol, that's just not possible when a Plague Dame can take 12 pieces in one move.

I beat every level in normal... except that bonus nuggets one at the end. That one looks impossible

Please, clarify, are you accidently clicking on the blue waypoint?
Clicking on another piece/free cell must cancel the current selection.
Sometimes, yes, when using the laptop + trackpad. No such issue with a real mouse.
Love it. I got quite far vs the easy AI, but those "zombie rooks" are utterly ridiculous.
It will take some time to figure out how to deal with them.
They can also bite the piece next to them, that's really too much, I think to weaken them and take away such a move.

Thanks for the feedback, im still balancing. In the recent patch the difficulty was increased.
For the testing i put AI-normal vs AI-easy and he manage to complete all levels.
Try another approach, like moving at the edge of the board or just chill and build up the defence.
You can get the second star after beating the AI-normal.
A queen is an ordinary chess piece that moves according to the rules of chess. Maybe i should expand the manual.
Yea i managed to beat til the Wedge. I guess it's sorta doable if you stick to the edge (i play against the AI-normal).
But mah gad is trying to kill a Plague piece annoying.
